Dead Inside Podcasts Episode 10: Anhedral
In this episode of Dead Inside Podcasts, we welcome the Singaporean ambient producer Anhedral AKA Royston Tan to deliver his meditative rendition of Sounds From a Post Apocalyptic Landscape.
When a surgery twined him into an extensive bed-rest in 2019, Anhedral began his experimental project to explore simple sounds created within the confines of his bedroom. He was interested to see how independent notes, chimes and echoes could be orchestrated into rich sonic experiences. While the project started off as a bedroom play-along, Anhedral currently finds his way into the local ambient/soundscape circuit.
Today, he is one of the more well known ambient producers in Singapore. Following his recent feature on Mixmag Asia, Anhedral continues to dabble with the cosmic plane through his soundscape designs. His latest album titled Maiden Jaunt is not one to be missed if you are looking for tunes to relax to after a long tiring day.
